DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/07 13:54
Row-Crop Prices Mixed as Planting Makes Progress
December corn ended unchanged Tuesday, staying near its highest price in
three months, while November soybeans ended up 8 1/4 cents at its highest close
in 2024, still finding support from flooding in southern Brazil and speculative
short-covering. After higher closes Monday, all three U.S. wheat prices fell
back Tuesday with USDA rating half the winter crop as good or excellent.
